Drop in to learn about solar eclipses with Conor fromthe Michigan Learning Channel (NMU PBS). Attendees can also pick up their ownfree pair of eclipse glasses to wear while watching the Great American Eclipseon April 8^th (glasses only available while supplies last).

Gather with fellow crafters at the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library and bring along a project that you're currently working on.
Basic crochet supplies and instruction will be provided if you're a beginner!

The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library is hosting a monthlybook club at the Ishpeming Senior Center (121 Greenwood St., Ishpeming)! Thismonth’s selection is “The Last Green Valley” by Mark Sullivan. Copies areavailable for checkout at the library. Newcomers are always welcome to attend.

There’s early schooldismissal for N.I.C.E. Schools and we are showing 2023’s “Elemental” (PG)!Bring your own snacks or drink. Popcorn and water will be provided!

Penny from U.P. Rehab Services will be at the library to give a presentation on how to prepare your home for aging adults. Resources and tips on how to make your home safer for the elderly will be provided.

Join us for a Tree Grafting presentation from Ray Bushwhere you’ll get a demonstration and hands on experience with apple and peartree grafting. 

We're reading our way through the nominees for grades 4-5 of the Great Lakes Great Books Award this year! Join us each month as we read a nominated title, followed by an end of the year vote for your favorite! GLGB is a youth-voted award facilitated by the Michigan Reading Association.

We'll meet Thursday, April 11 at 6:00 in the Children's Room to share our thoughts on the fiction graphic novel set in 1980s Flint, “Strikers” by Kiel Phegley and Jacques Khouri.

"Evan just wants to win a game. Bobby would rather fight than win. Hockey―and life―keep handing them both losses. Their team, the Strikers, has a roster of rejects in hand-me-down coats but lacks good equipment, a deep bench, and a coach who shows up on time.
