Children’s Librarian: Heather Lander

Children are always welcome in the Library, but those under the age of eight must be accompanied by a loving adult at all times.

The Children’s Room of the Library hosts collections curated for ages 0-12 and the teen collection located in the High School Reading Room contains items published for ages 12-18.

Programs for all young people occur year round with an especially robust offering during the summer months. For a current lineup of programs, please visit our calendar or Facebook page.

A Wander Walk is now available for families to enjoy on Baby Lake Trail at Al Quaal Recreation Area. Enjoy learning and playing while spending time in nature! Each sign on the trail is guided by Wox the fox and shares movement based activities and other fun facts. Signs are bilingual in both English and Spanish. The Wander Walk will be set up until the snow begins to fall. Have fun!
