Attend a short presentation with 2026 featured Marquette Alger Young Author’s Conference presenter and accomplished author, Sarah Weeks! Followed by a meet and greet with the author along with books for sale from Snowbound Books.

The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library is hosting a monthly book club at the Ishpeming Senior Center (121 Greenwood St., Ishpeming)! This month’s selection is “A Marriage at Sea” by Sophie Elmhirst. Copies are available for checkout at the library. Newcomers are always welcome to attend.

Join us for a fun filled time of experimenting with Watercolor Pencil Art and Pen & Ink Designs with Color Accents. Kathi will show you unique watercolor pencil techniques and also a variety of inking designs you can add color to for additional dimension and interest. For teens and adults. Aspen Ridge Middle School's Strong ARMS Robotics team will give a short presentation on robotics and teach kids how to put together a small STEM Kit. Participants will be able to keep their wind-powered car. Intended for children ages 6-10.

Calling all fibers artists including knitters, crocheters, quilters, and other fiber crafters! Gather together to work on blankets for Project Linus, an organization that donates homemade blankets to children in need. Bring your own project to work on for the cause. Also, yarn will be provided to make blankets to donate.

Join us at the Ishpeming Library, where library clerk Arwen will share her experiences volunteering with the American Red Cross. Currently serving as a caseworker and outreach advocate in the international Restoring Family Links (RFL) program, she will explain what RFL is and how you can support its efforts.

Join us for our third of four workshops with Partridge Creek Farm on gardening in the UP! We’ll be talking about tips and tricks for prepping your planting spaces, including ways to design your garden to passively catch rainwater.

A special day just for babies!
Intended for littles under 2, this program will include a brief storytime with lots of cuddles, bounces, and songs; then stay for a chance to play with infant-friendly toys and socialize with other babies and caregivers!

Paul Olson will guide you through a one-session D&D adventure designed to show the absolute beginner what happens in a D&D game.This is free of charge. All materials are provided. No experience whatsoever is necessary (in fact, the less you know about D&D, the better). Registration is required and is capped at 5 people per session. Adults only.
