Gather together with fellow crafters to socialize while you work on a project of your choice. Beginning supplies and instruction will be provided if you’d like to learn how to crochet! This event is for kids, teens, and adults.

Our current Book Club attendees have requested that we meet twice per month! New members are always welcome! Join us for discussion of the book and snacks. Copies of the books will be available.

The Great Lakes Great Books Award celebrates recent literature with Michigan students that has literary merit and kid appeal, and presents diverse points of view, while highlighting the election process in the selection of the winners. Michigan children in Kindergarten through 12th Grade are invited to vote for their favorites of this year’s nominees and are invited to do so during our usual book club time. Votes will be submitted to the GLGB committee to be included in the tally for the official winners, which will be announced in March 2025. Copies of the books will be available for check out.
