The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library is hosting a monthly book club at the Ishpeming Senior Center (121 Greenwood St., Ishpeming)! This month we are reading "We Are the Brennans" by Tracey Lange. Copies are available for checkout at the library and at the Senior Center on Nov. 2 @ 11am. Newcomers are always welcome to attend. Learn how to make a cardboard mask with local artist Amber Dohrenwend.  In this workshop you will bend cardboard strips and a use a stapler to build an armature of a favorite animal or imagined creature that you can wear as a mask or headpiece. Meet local children’sauthor, Kelsey Gross, as she shares her new children’s book “Winter” whichfeatures forest animals as they celebrate the Winter Solstice.  Snowbound Books will be here with the bookavailable for purchase and signing.
