Join a Book Club at the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library

(ISHPEMING, MI) – The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library encourages community members to join a book club offered at their library! ICPL is proud to have seven monthly book clubs for various age groups and interests. From a graphic novel book club for middle schoolers to a horror book club for adults, there is truly something for everyone! Book club attendees read the book selection prior to the meeting and discuss the book together on a specified date. Additionally, the books are available for checkout for library cardholders a month in advance of the meeting. Here is a list of book clubs and the books that will be discussed in November:

Book Club at the Ishpeming Senior Center – Thursday, November 2nd at 11am: ICPL hosts a monthly book club at the Ishpeming Senior Center on the first Thursday of every month. November’s book is The Lost Ticket by Freya Sampson.

Nicole Johnson, Librarian at the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library states that to her, “Book Clubs offer a unique chance for community connection over a shared interest. It is so fun to hear the various opinions on the books we read from our book club attendees and learn about other books that our patrons recommend!”
