Michigan Author, Bonnie Jo Campbell, will be visiting the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library on July 19^that 4pm

(ISHPEMING, MI) – The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library (ICPL) is hosting an author visit on Friday, July 19^th at 4pm. Michigan author, Bonnie Jo Campbell, will be at the library to give an author presentation featuring her book, The Waters. The Waters was a 2024 “Read with Jenna” book club selection. Campbell’s author works include short story collections such as, American Salvage, which was a finalist for the National Book Award. Copies of Campbell’s books will be available for purchase from Snowbound Books at the event on July 19^th with the opportunity to get them signed by the author. Campbell’s visit to the ICPL is funded in part by Michigan Humanities, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Michigan Arts and Culture Council.

Prior to Campbells’s author visit, the ICPL is hosting a book discussion featuring The Waters on Tuesday, July 16^th at 2pm and Wednesday, July 17^th at 6pm. Come to either meeting of our Adult Book Club to discuss this title before the opportunity to meet the author!
